Ollie Adams is currently a contract
specialist for the Small Business Administration (SBA). She has worked
with them for 10 years.
Lurrell R. Alston, BS, Poli Sci —
President of Alston Consulting, has over 15 years of Marketing and Sales experience.
ArMarlon Barbour, Founder
of SOAR Development Program, an intervention program for at risk youth.
He currently works as a Youth and Family Services Consultant and Therapeutic
Counselor for the PA Clinical School.
Iola Carter, BS is
currently the Director for The Avenue Project with Mt. Airy USA.
Ms. Carter is President of IC Consulting Services, a firm which provides
training
and technical
assistance to entrepreneurs.
Christopher Chaplin, MBA,
has over 10 years banking experience in Jamaica and the United States.
He is
currently the Loan Fund Manager for the Economic Opportunity Fund.
Jay Cohen, MA, the former Educational
Technology Director at WHYY, Inc., he formed DelawareValley.org, an
organization that will assist non-profits by providing an on-line portal
for their news and events.
Edwina Coverson-Barnes, BS, Bus. Adm.,
currently the Program Manager at The Business Center, has over 7 years
of educational
program development, management, and training experience for adults
and youth. NFTE certified teacher.
Michael Cunningham is licensed
and certified in three major areas of finances: Insurance, Investing,
and
Loans. He now serves as the Director of the Institute for Financial
Success (IFS) at New Covenant Church of Philadelphia.
John Darnall has over
38 years of experience in the financial lending industry and is a
licensed First
Mortgage Broker. He founded his own counsulting business which provides
private financial
consultations.
Lisa Duhart-Collins, BA, Communication,
has 15 years experience in Marketing/Public Relations. Founder of Creative Focus
Media.
Angela M. Gracey, Founder and President
of Rhema Writing Concepts, has 20 years of experience in office and
business administration. She is a conference speaker and author of Starting
a Business on a Shoe String Budget, and a quarterly newsletter
for small businesses entitled Revelation!
Constance Gregory has over 10 years
of experience as a trainer, conference speaker and program developer.
She is also the co-owner of Gemstones Communications, a division of
MGI, a newly developed training and consulting company.
Carol A. Hendrix is the Founder,
President and CEO of GIM Associates. She has over 22 years experience
in the financial industry, 15 years experience funding and assisting
small businesses, and 10 years experience as an educator and trainer.
Bridget D. Jones, MS earned
her degree in Instructional Technology and is a Certified Microsoft
User Expert. She has several years experience supporting and training
end
users
with
a variety of software and hardware.
Tina Lawson is a General Law Practitioner
Specialist in estate planning and domestic relations.
Kim Miller owns her
own marketing communications and coaching business. She has over 25
years of experience
helping small and medium sized businesses grow their market share,
introduce new products, and develop relationship management campaigns.
Joseph W. Murray, CLU, CHFC, CSA is
President/CEO of First Financial Advisers, LLC., a registered investment
advisory firm. He has been active in the financial industry since 1983.
He is a college professor and has been teaching in the community for
over 15 years.
Mark Palmer is President/Founder
and CEO of Empire Capital & Consulting Corp. He is an expert in
small business accounting and management, tax problem prevention and
resolution, management strategy development and implementation, personal
financial planning, mergers and acquisition advisory services.
Gisele Quarterman, BS Ed.,
is a Certified Teacher with the School District of Philadelphia, specializing
in Science Education. She has educated students in grades 4-8. She
has received special training from MicroSociety, a program designed
to train students on how to run small businesses.
Pamela J. Rich-Wheeler, MBA, is
currently the Executive Director and one of the founders of The Business
Center. She was previously President of PJ Tours & Travel, Inc.
Janet Taylor founded Totally Organized
in 1994. Totally Organized is a professional organizing firm that
helps
clients save time and money by helping them lead organized lives.
Solomon D. Wheeler, MBA,
has extensive experience in lending, Internal Auditing, and is currently
a Financial
Services Manager for Coca Cola USA.
Leah Williams is President/CEO
of Naharai Consulting Service, Inc., a marketing and organizational
development
consulting firm. She has worked in management in the for-profit sector
at large corporations.
