Weddings
The Ken Ulansey Ensemble provides music for the most elegant to the most eccentric of weddings. From classical music at the ceremony and jazz for cocktails, to dance music of all eras, these versatile musicians are comfortable with it all.
All full-time professional players, the band was recently picked by Philadelphia Magazine as “The Best Party Band in Philly.” By varying the musical mix to your taste, the ensemble makes every event unique.
Among the most requested combinations Ken has provided are: Dance Bands -- From four to ten pieces, featuring Big Band, Motown, Latin, Pop, Rock.
Jazz Ensembles -- All periods of jazz, Dixie to today’s sounds; from solo piano to Big Band.
Specialty Bands -- Zydeco, Cajun, Klezmer, Samba, French among others.
Classical Groups -- Piano and winds, string quartet, harp and flute -- many other groups.
Combinations -- Small groups that move effortlessly from the best of Bach to elegant jazz standards, then take a turn towards funk!
