Corporate Affairs

Ken Ulansey Ensembles is pleased to provide music for any occasion, from quiet dinner music to lively and versatile dance band; from cooking jazz cocktail parties to elegant chamber music. Ensemble size is as varied as your needs...from solo to 10-piece. Our musicians have played on scores of CDs, in the Philadelphia Orchestra, received Grammy Awards, as well as having played decades worth of private parties and corporate affairs.

Among the most requested combinations we’ve provided are:

Dance Bands -- From four to ten pieces, featuring Big Band, Motown, Latin, Pop, Rock.
Jazz Ensembles -- All periods of jazz, Dixie to today’s sounds; from solo piano to Big Band.
Specialty Bands -- Zydeco, Cajun, Klezmer, Samba, Merengue, French among others.
Classical Groups -- Piano and winds, string quartet, harp and flute -- many other groups.
Combinations -- Small groups that move effortlessly from the best of Bach to elegant jazz standards, then take a turn towards funk!

Here is a small part of the very long list of organizations for whom we have done repeat engagements: AstraZenca, Infonautics, Vanguard, eSchoolhouse, The National Board of Medical Examiners, Architects H2L2, Alliance Consulting, University of Pennsylvania, Drexel and Temple Universities, Philadelphia Museum of Art and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.

Let us know what ambience you’d like to create and we’ll help you find the proper musical medium to achieve it. From the elegant to the eccentric, Philadelphia’s most versatile musicians can bring to life the sounds your affair needs! Demo tapes and prices available on request. Check out the extensive song list below. At the bottom of this page, there is a form to send any questions and requests to Ken.
